Classic car fundraiser planned to fight domestic violence

Friends of the Family Justice Center will host a fundraiser on Sept. 24 from 6-9 p.m. at Dick's Classic Garage in San Marcos.

Architectural Plans Completed

In 2010, after receiving $500,000 from the City of San Marcos, TrB Architecture was hired to design the Village Main Building – future home of the Family Justice Center. Joining the FJC on the Village Campus will be three leading nonprofit organizations in Hays County: Community Action, Inc., Early Childhood Intervention – Homespun, and City of San Marcos WIC program.

Construction documents are complete now, showing how a variety of organizations can provide wrap-around services to victims of domestic violence and violent crime in one, safe location.
